End Of Season Information

As the season is drawing near to its completion it is time to announce the details on our 'Summer Sixes' end of season plans and plans for the new 'Bury Interclub Darts League' season. 

 

Re-Signings

Please make sure you have paid your £2.00 re-signing fee to your team captain by this Friday (29th August). Final team details and registered players lists will be submitted to the Bury Interclub Darts League at the next meeting on Monday 1st September. The winter league requires a bigger squad to partake in some of the cup competitions such as the Brabrook Shield, 5 Pairs and for two teams in the Hospice Fours. Therefore we are welcoming new players to either Ladz team. 

 

Return Of Shirts

Any players not looking to continue into next season must return their shirts at the end of season celebration on Friday 26th September. Hopefully we can sort everyone out with a shirt before the winter season starts. 

 

2014-2015 Fixture Lists

The fixtures for the BIDL First Division have been released. I will try to print off enough copies for everyone and hand them out at the final game of the season when both Ladz teams play each other. Moreton Hall Ladz Name Changes

The names of the two Ladz teams remain Ladz Youth & Ladz Academy. To keep things interesting the current teams will swap their current names. William Pottle will become the captain of Ladz Youth with his re-signed players. Whilst Benjamin Francis will captain Ladz Academy with his re-signed players.

 

End Of Season Awards

We plan to celebrate our players achievements this year with an end of out end of season awards (more details to follow). The statistical awards are yet unconfirmed as it depends on the trophies we have available etc. We are however planning on presenting awards of Captains' Player & Players' Player Of The Season to players from both teams. Due to the smaller team size we think it is best that a most improved award is not presented by itself but as a reasoning behind votes for Players' Player or Captain's Player. 

 

So please let your captain know your vote for your Players' Player Of The Season from your Ladz team. Please also give reasons for your vote. Please let your captain know directly or by email before the final game of the season (Friday 5th September). 

 

Return Of Trophies

Any players that have received a trophy from last season please can they return them to either Ladz team captain immediately. So we can do a stock take before confirming this years awards. We are owed trophies from Jake, Tom, George, Ryan A & Morgan. 

 

Celebratory Meal

Our Ladz fund will hopefully stretch to offering each player a complementary main course, desert and drink. Please review the bar menu and let me know your choices before the day. I am awaiting a response from the club about the available choices of main and deserts. More details to follow, watch this space. 

 

Darts Friendly: Ladz Academy vs. Ladz Youth

This is to be played on Friday 26th September a week before the BIDL winter darts season starts. The format is yet undecided and will be confirmed nearer the time. This 'challenge game' will be an un-official third place play off from the Summer Sixes Division Four Knockout Cup. Every player has the opportunity to play and potential new signings could also have the opportunity to play.
